2-Installation Guide
--------------------
Unzip all the archive in your prefered location. This will probably create
a directory called "DiskMapper".
Double click the "DiskMapper".
Select some device : hardisk, zip, cdrom, as you like.
Click the Start button. The device starts getting busy, as it's read. The device map appears in the scrollable view. The process is not really fast, but for the moment that's all it can do.
When you're done, click "Stop" and close the window.

Please quietly read the disclaimer below if you run into troubles.

I will say it again and again :

---> BACKUP YOUR WORK <----

This program only _reads_ from the devices. A device can be a ZIP disk, your hard disk, a JAZZ or anything else (CD ROM for example). In normal conditions, this program WON'T write to your hard disk. It should NOT crash and thus should be safe. But you _never_ know what can happen ! So please be kind, backup your work, and try this onto a Jazz or Zip disk, or an external drive, whatever you like but please, please, never tell me that this stuff crashed your hard disk. For two reasons : I can't do anything for you, and I can't believe you. If you're not sure, re-read the above disclaimer, then re-read this again and again. I use this program safely on my own primary & second hard disk, but I backuped my work on a pair of Zip disk, so if I crash, I'm safe. OK ?

Have fun.

4-Shareware info
----------------

This software is provided as a freeware.
This freeeware is free. This version costs $0 (USD) or 0 FF(TTC).
The freeeware version is NOT limited. If you find that $0 is too high for this software, fell free to send me less or more, or send me whatever you like, including pack of beers or Champagne (as a French guy, I'm very regarding about the Champagne). Or invite me at your teckno parties.
Currently, you can't register via Kagi.

The final version will probably cost $0 for the full version. You won't
use Kagi to register it. There will be a Lite version for free.

You're not autorized to put this on a free or public CD-ROM without my written
permission, even if you make no money with that CD.
