Snips is a utility for BeOS that allows you to open Windows(TM) "Shortcut" files
 via Tracker.
Install Snips, and then double-click on a shortcut (".lnk") file on your windows
disk. Snips will open the shortcut with Tracker.

It only parses the shortcut files minimally, so network drives and special folders
 will not work.

Because Tracker does not recognise shortcuts, you cannot drag files onto a shortcut
to a folder. You must open the shortcut.

In order to map your windows drive letters (eg "C:\") to the volume name, you must
run the "SnipsSetup" program. This program is quite minimal, but it should be
 fairly easy to use.

If you run into a shortcut that can't be opened please email me a copy of it.
I worked out the shortcut file contents manually, so I made have over-looked
 something.
Note though, that certain shortcuts are not likely to ever work (eg links to
floppies or to the recycle bin). If someone sends me sufficient info to recognise
and parse shortcuts to these special folders, then I'll do it, otherwise it's just
 too much guess-work.
