About BeBreakout...

Quite simply, BeBreakout is a clone of Arkanoid, the hugely popular paddle & bricks arcade game. It's not a direct clone; it just uses the same idea. The levels (20 in this release) are all original, and the arcade "powerups" are not present, though they may be implemented in a future version. BeBreakout is freeware.

Playing the game...

First of all, when you are at the title screen before you start a new game, you can use the up and down arrows to select your starting level. Once you have begun a game, you use the mouse to control your paddle. Initally, the ball is sitting on the paddle (and it goes back to this position every time you lose a life) -- you can move around the paddle, and then click a mouse button when you are ready to release the ball. The object of the game is to destroy all the bricks on each level -- you get 5 points for every brick you destroy, and 200 points for each level you complete.
