-----DynDNS1.0 ------ by David Raufeisen (40@hlserver.com)

Basic:
The program updates your http://www.ml.org DynDNS settings, DynDNS enables you to point a static address to a dynamic ip#, for example burnsview.dyn.ml.org is the name for my ip adress whenever i'm online in BeOS. Once you have your DynDNS account setup open this program and enter the hostname in the first textbox, if your hostname is burnsview.dyn.ml.org then you would put burnsview in the box, put your username (MID) in the second textbox and your password in the third textbox. Wildcard means you can put anything before your domain name like teachers.suck.at.burnsview.dyn.ml.org and it will be the same thing as entering burnsview.dyn.ml.org, when your ready to update your DynDNS hit the update button. When it has sucessfully updated it will say Done below the update button if it still says "connecting" after a while you'll probably need to force quit the application, if it says wrong password then you havent entered the correct password, double check!, if it says Update to recent it means their servers are under heavy load and that you have updated your DynDNS within 5 minutes of the time before with the same ip#, so wait 5 minutes and try again.

Running through command line:
You must update once through the GUI to save your settings, the you can run the program through the command line like this ./DynDNS -background and it will update your settings and quit, this is usefull if you want to put the program in your ppp-script to update your DynDNS automatically when your PPP starts.

known bugs:
Will crash if it has problems connecting, will fix the next release, to kill the application after it crashes hold control command, shift, control keys on the RIGHT side of your keyboard and click on the DynDNS application in the Deskbar.
